Official 2008 NBA Thread

err... actually, anyone see the suspensions handed out for the suns/rockets game the other night? I can't believe T-mac didn't get a game.

Nash runs over to a group of 4 red jerseys surrounding 1 white one at midcourt, seemingly to help restrain his teammate, and right when he got there Mcgrady threw him to the ground. Nash 1 game, T-mac zero games.

Shaq pushes T-mac right after he threw Nash... Shaq gets 35k fine, T-mac gets 25k.

Am I just being a Suns fan here when I see some irregularities?

edit- just wanted to add that I think that Barnes' 2 games for starting the whole thing and Alston's 2 games for throwing 2 punches was proper. The rest of it seems like the league was watching a different tape than I saw.

Shaq's gonna get a game. Wouldn't leave the court after getting tossed. Suns got lucky catching the Pistons on a very off night. Iverson has bad luck in the valley.

Spurs climbing back. With the last 2 wins they're only 1.5 games out in their division, but still 3.5 back in the conference though.

We just need to hang in there until Manu and Parker get back next month.

D. Rose is ridiculous. Rookie of the year and will be starting for the East in the all-star game this year hands down.

The Wizards/Bullets do it again...fire the head coach. Arenas will be out for another 3 months, Haywood might miss the entire season and you fault the coach? Stupid...

jordan was a good coach, made this team relevant again. the arenas contract is whats gonna end up killing 'em. he was not a championship caliber player to begin with, and now you're paying over 100 million to someone that may never be able to play at the level you thought he would.

That's how the Wiz are...overpaying the wrong people. They never try to get good pg's...they always get shooting guards in point They always get shooting guards with point guard's body. They knew he was hurt before they gave him the contract. Wtf?!?!

Why isn't Nick Young starting over Stevenson? What threat is he? They need to put more scorers out on the floor TOGETHER so they can't double Jamison and Butler...spread the damn floor. And even when/if Haywood comes back McGee needs to be the starter. Now.
