Official 2008 NBA Thread

I don't blame him though...if my job wanted to give me more money and knew they wouldn't see the benefits for another 3 months I'd sign up too. In this case, just like all of them, they might not get their money's worth.

he doesn't deserve that much though. He is injury prone and way past his prime. This is what I hate about sports.

I wouldn't say past his prime though...he's only what, 25 or 26? But injury prone? Yes...

And I see they put McGee in the starting line-up, and he's started off strong. 4 pts in the first 5 minutes.

keep hoisting those 3's finley.

yeah good game so far. nobody is at the game man. it's all dead in there.

Last I saw it was tied. Can't watch for the next 30 min or so...have 2 shows recording can't switch over to the game.

Just checked NBA.com...your up by 4 dammit!!!

I've been watching old youtube clips all morning...I don't care how many kids Shawn Kemp has, he was a beast!!!

3-4 circus trip.

6-52 previous.

rose is da man, everything else is junk.

What a game last night. Spurs beat the Mavs in double OT.

Fantastic game. I was surprised when kidd hit that 3, and then manu missed the layup to send it to double OT.

The Suns looked pretty good tonight against the lakers considering they were without Bell, Diaw, and Shaq. Only had 8 guys available, and stuck in there the entire game.

After their fourth straight loss last week, Porter said that he was ditching the Flip Saunders playbook that he was trying to implement over the first 20 games. Amazing that it took that long to figure out that standing around, throwing the ball at shaq, turning the ball over, and then standing around some more just doesn't work. They immediately looked better going back to the old plays, resulting in 2 solid wins that were fun to watch. I liked what I saw tonight too, even though they lost.

Gonna be interesting to see what J-Rich adds to the mix... the starting 5 gets stronger, but the bench gets weaker.

Nash - Dragic
J-Rich - Barbosa
G. Hill - Barnes
STAT - Amundson
Shaq - Lopez

Suns looked awesome last night vs Orlando. I really like this trade if everyone stays healthy.

D'Antoni's Knicks come to town Monday night.
