Wheel Hop

Took my car to the midnight drags the other night and was just starting to get the hang of launching a FWD car when I turned off the DSC---the next thing I know I'm 30 feet out and the car goes into severe wheel hop. Any suggestions-----------------

Motor mount. There are many options; corksport inserts, street_unit, TRZ dogbone, CP-e, AWR. Just do a search and find all the info you could ever want.

Absolutely and stay under the rev limiter. Modulating throttle during wheelspin might also help your 60s too

I would have said motor mount too, but I got worse wheel hop with the MM compared to without it.(shrug)

Any upgrades since? With just intake and mm inserts got rid of almost all my wheel hop, then I went catless and can't hold traction in 1 or 2, or when shifting hard into 3.

Nope. Just filling the stock mount with poly made the wheel hop disappear compared to the TRZ.
