Fuel Frustrations...

I you guys need some i can get your guys a few gallons from SC. it is not all out here.

lol yeah the MSP went down may 4th

Yeah, fuel is very unlikely to be a concern of mine for a very long time, it'll be about a year and a half before I can buy another car, and even then, I'll very rarely be driving it, everything on base SHOULD be within walking / running / biking distance. Before I quit, I used to ride about 10 miles each way to work on my bicycle, I'm positive that almost everyone with a commute that short could manage to do the same on occasion.

EDIT: reading back on that, it reminds me of the grandfather stories "When I was your age, I used to walk 7 miles to and from school, uphill both ways, carrying a potato to keep my hands warm"

97+ octane all day everyday here folks. Reason being is most people, either don't drive here or don't need premium (diesel ftw/l).
It sucks to hear bout the current issue back in the States over fuel....not looking forward to March...but I'll be driving the P5. The Miata will be on a boat in the Atlantic somewhere...

My work sent out an email this morning telling us to work from home if possible until the gas problem is ironed out. I will not be going to the office for at least the rest of the week. :p

Is it SRSLY that f'ing bad there!!?
92.3% of the stations are out of gas.
For the other 7.7% that have gas, there's a hour long wait to get your $20.00 (max) worth.
Not to mention you're paying out the a** for a gallon of gas.

I'd be stuck at home (30 miles from school) if there wasn't a paint store near my house. (Toluene FTMFW)

(Note: 20% of all statistics are made up.)

JA try the quick trip on hanyes bridge down by the varsity by 3 dollar cafe, and there's another quick trip off of mcginnis ferry/peachtree industrial. they are emergency gas stations, and they are not going to stop supplying those two stations. also, the shell on mansell usually has gas, or every time i've passed it, it had gas, and the wait was only like 3 minutes. well, i hope that helps you guys out.

from what i know of, it's only metro atlanta. pretty strange, but we do have most of the states population and everyone around here is driving a suv.

metro atlanta is the worst it seems, but I know there are spot shortages elsewhere in Tennessee and South Carolina as well.

According to Jenn, Shell, QuickTrip, and RaceTrac are getting gas. I don't think we've got any of those right around us, so I haven't seen if it's true or not, but I did pass a couple of QuickTrips the other day, and they had gas.

When I was on the way to my surgery this morning, that QT had gas and no line. Seems like the best time to get gas is at 5 in the morning lol. But on the way back, around 10, they had run out of gas. But most of the QT's I have seen have gas though.

Around me, both RaceTrac's and both QTs have fuel pretty consistently, but shells are hit 'n miss.
