Fuel Frustrations...

This was the last time I filled up:

04 SEP 2008 $44.51 AAFES-OFF BASE GAS-TURKEY

I've been on leave & not driving around very much this month, but today I'll have to fill up again.

JA try the quick trip on hanyes bridge down by the varsity by 3 dollar cafe, and there's another quick trip off of mcginnis ferry/peachtree industrial. they are emergency gas stations, and they are not going to stop supplying those two stations. also, the shell on mansell usually has gas, or every time i've passed it, it had gas, and the wait was only like 3 minutes. well, i hope that helps you guys out.

Thank you! I'll keep an eye out for those if I'm out running errands.

Up near us there was gas everywhere a little before noon. I filled up at a RaceTrac on Riverstone Pkwy in Canton, and drove past 3 other gas stations with gas. Later I drove back past the RaceTrac and one of the others and they were out.

on the way home from oakwood I saw 2 gas stations with gas ,each had a line 1/4 mile long. all they had was regular.

i just talked to my friend back in KCMO and he was telling me he got regular at 3.07 WTH am i paying 4.10 for gas when we normaly run 5-10 cents cheper then them. hurrican, special gas, winter gas - not even close to freazing yet, feading frenzzy

Those are good prices. My slovak teacher got ***** for 5.99 for a gallon of premium and right down the street I paid 4.27 which is right about where the prices were before the fiasco. Of course I didn't mind waiting in line for premium since I haven't even been able to put it in in two weeks.

yeah, our prices have dropped about $.40 this week.
and actually, that 3.31 was for regular, it was 3.51 for the premium

Still not bad. Last two gas purchases I made for regular (only thing available) were for ~4.19 and then 3.97 over the last two weeks. I haven't been able to boost as much with the cheap stuff, so after filling up yesterday I had to tear out for a second just to get the itch out.

So I feel bad for all you guys. I have had not one bit of trouble finding gas where I live. If I travel 7 miles up the road to the Kroger on 129 in Jefferson, I get premium without any waits. Also, I get that 15cents off a gallon. I remember you guys making fun of me for being so picky. Well last time I filled my tank (with no restrictions on how much) I paid 4.05 a gal. So I am happy.

I believe it's because Jefferson is right out the "Metro Atlanta" area so we aren't being hit by smog effecient gas and we aren't in the mountains where it might be hard to get trucks to.

Either way, I am having no trouble at all.

Thanks for the update, dick.

The Atlanta area is getting much better. I don't have to find premium, but I stopped at a QT today and pulled right up to an empty pump. It was actually strange to see people getting gas just like they did before this whole monkeyfuck.

Yeah, Erin told me on her way home she saw alot of gas stations closer to Atlanta than Winder, that were basically open for business, no lines, no clusterfuck, just selling gas. So I suppose this is finally over with... well until Barack Obama gets sworn in and then we're really screwed.

Oh yes let's get the bimbo in office with a stiff....YES PLEASE!................ two thumbs down.

the bp on old alabama and jones bridge has all grades as of saturday. i just went by there and they are out of ultimate, but they are getting a delivery tonight, so i'll keep you all posted. also, the manager said they are going to constantly keep gas now, so i hope that helps some of u turboed peoples. regulars $3.85, and it's usually the cheapest gas station in the area too.
