where could i find black emblems for the grill and the back of the car? should i just get mine painted?

Get VHT Trim Black paint. Will match up perfectly to the rest of the cars trim.

Street Unit has them. I am unable to post their URL for some reason.
The badges are pre-painted black in automotive paint (won't chip as easily).

SU is not supported on this forum any more. If you paint them yourself you need to sock them in bleach until they are blue again. Then primer, paint and clear. They will last forever without chips. If you just paint over that chroming they will chip and flack all the time and look like crap. I know from learning the hard way.

All I did was use fishing line off to get the back badges off and the front one has clips. Then I wiped them down and sprayed 2 coats of primer just to give the paint something to stick to better. Then I sprayed 3 coats of I think it's called kryplon indoor and outdoor paint and I went with satin black cuz it's not glossy but it's not flat.Let it sit in the sun for about 2 hours and had got some emblem adhesive from walmart and stuck them back on.

The emblem adhesive that I got from Pep Boys sucked ass. It was clear and really messy to work with. I wanna find the OEM black stuff. Anyone got any ideas??? I have heard people say to get the gasket adhesive, but I am worried about putting that on my paint.

They were accused of bull dogging and undercutting other suppliers.

I got some stuff from wal-mart that said automotive emblem adhesive, I beleive it was 3m. It works awesome. I was able to get my emblems off with heat and my fingers. I have heard that fishing line trick can be painful...

I'm about to get mine ready to paint em a dark blue. Gonna have matching calipers as well. I think it'll look awesome on my white MP.

I have a titanium grey Mazda6 and want to have them painted black...does anyone see an issue with color matching on this? I think it would look good but would like some opinions.

that's not true. i didn't bleach mine and they've been fine for over a year.

i just sanded them down until they weren't shiny anymore. no chips, no flakes, nothing.

although, bleaching them would probably guarantee that a little more.
