Oh no. That's part of the bumper and it was red. I wanted to paint that along with the hood so the black would flow into the black part of the grill.

Nice set-up. Never did see what your previous sub box but it must have been realy big because it still seems as though your still losing a good amount of trunk space. Can you get to your spare??
I'm currently having a custom sub set-up built for my trunk. I'm losing the spare tire to make extra room and I'll still have less trunk space than you after I'm done. lol On top of that I'll have to step-up my performance mods to make-up for the extra weight.

There was a guy on here years ago that kept trying to test the reverse lock-out while moving.
Well, he was on his 3rd transmission or so when he made the thread. I bet his subconscious was tempting him to shift into 6th. (alright)

Here is a pic of the old 80 pound box. Oh, and what spare? lol, its been gone ever since I made a trip to the strip last time. The trunk space I have now is WAY more than I had before and I think you will agree....
Well they would fit in the trunk now... lol.
Well its not that much... I wanted a smaller box because my new radio sucks and I really don't care how the subs sound but still want them there. I don't like that I can't take all the bass out of the door speakers and have it all coming from the subs like I did before. My stock speakers sound like crap with this new radio... there just isn't any adjustability like im use too.

I know what you mean about the stock system. The MSP was to have a premium Kenwood sound system but I was never able to get the sub from cutting out and rattling. So I replaced the whole system. Here is a pic of the last set-up.
I'm currently re-doing it for a second time and hope to have it completed in another 2 weeks.

I noticed this too. I think Flickr is clever and does something to prevent that to save bandwidth.
