Have you dumped your clutch?

My best friend has a BRAND new 335i and he can not take me. Off the line he jumps but by 3rd I have caught him and am rolling by. From a roll it is all me, so no my freind you were putting it to him.

wow ... almost the exact outcome as you guys when i went up against a 335i. after 3rd i started to pull way .. almost half a car ...probably was an auto

i think top end they will get us though

even though it probably the driver, but i love keeping up with expensive cars and the look on their faces when they think a regular 3 is pulling on their 50k car.

anyone ever thought of just rolling up to the tree with the car in gear and just launching it like an automatic (left foot on brake right foot on gas)?

u can kinda do the same thing with the e brake, i was thinking aout it today. while slipping the clutch and feathering gas till the car pulls a bit hold the e brake with the button down so u can release when the light goes. it can proly work

Yeah, and you'd get three or four launches like that before your clutch wore out. Thats very similar to holding your car on a hill by slipping the clutch.

i've hung just fine with 335's. Yes they can trap 105 stock, on a good day, when the planets are aligned just right. Typically i see them trap 102-103.Thats about the norm....i usually trap about 102ish...all i have is an intake and vibrant exhaust. Stock i trapped 100 just about every pass. On the track they obviously get us, but on the street we hang just fine.

I miss my srt....nothing like trapping 120+

+1

Yeah the MS3 is pretty quick but it isn't going to out run a properly driver BMW 335i lol! Those things are no joke.

They've been proven to run 4.9 0-60 13.4 @ 105 1/4's and I've seen them at the track in person doing it.

I chirped all the way into 3rd giving a 5.7L Hemi Dodge Ram hell yesterday...on a closed course. It was fantastic and I even got the "my engine is louder than yours" flyby afterward.

haha I can see that happening! Those damn "my engine is louder that yours" flybys! Like when a civic tries to rev and it sounds like a bunch of bees buzzing in a can.(drive2)
