I bought it at 65,060mi and it's now at 78,656mi. The previous owner was a 50-60 year old woman, who drove it as such. She also couldn't park it in the garage for crap, and both side view mirrors have scrapes because of it (you can see one in the pictures). Luckily, her husband took care of the maintainence, and did an immaculate job of keeping up with oil changes and services (it had new front tires when i bought it too, so that was great).
The husband owned a turbo Beetle, and he passed away because of a heart attack, so she decided to keep the Beetle and sell the 626, and so i got it at a great price (i think it was only 6,000 before taxes).
The downsides:
1) The car was sitting in the garage for extended periods of time. She only used it if she needed the extra trunk space, which was maybe once or twice in the year or two after her husband died. I changed the oil as soon as i got it home and insured, and had someone check the car for leaks and such, so it was fine.
2) She probably never took the car over 50 mph (or 3000 rpm lol). Therefore, fourth gear didn't get much exercise, and first gear seems to be worn out; it kind of kicks out of first into second (this started recently). Oh yeah, and it's automatic.
3) The engine has rust (or corrosion?) on various parts, i took pictures and will post them in a separate thread, i need help on whether it needs to be treated or not, and how i could remove some of it safely.
D) Well, there is no D. Everything else owns.

Sounds beautiful (angry almost, not whiny like a civic), handles tight, especially for a four door sedan, looks great in black, leather is comfy, steering wheel stitches have held up perfectly, everything works, and the stock (premium possibly?) sound system has the bump i like.
