Thanks. As long as it still is in my garage I will use it (somewhat) but I hope it sells this Spring/Summer as it has been put on Autotrader.

1.5 more months and I'll put it on insurance and take it out for it's first drive of the year. I anticipate it will get used even less this year because I now have a daughter and won't be transferring car seats back and forth between my two cars. This was the main reason I got serious about selling it because it really won't get used much at all with the addition to the family.

I say buy an extra child seat and leave it in the MSP:) Seriously, I don't think you're gonna get the money that this car is really worth, so ya might as well keep it partna!

I'm starting the think that myself, but I have to try and sell it :) Autotrader has brought in a few leads but it's always "I love your car but I don't have that much".

We'll see what happens but I really would like to sell her so I have to keep bumping the thread! (headbang)

You can't part with a motor that looks this nice Mark...

I think your main problem with selling this is that banks wont loan that much on an 03.5 msp no matter the mileage, and most people that have $17,500 cash arent going to by an msp they are usually going to make a hellacious down payment on something else. Not that its not worth that much but im just saying thats probably why u dont have that many hits on it. Bump for a clean msp though.

I hear you, I'm just waiting for the right buyer. Whenever I bought a used car I saved my money and paid in cash. I'm hoping that whoever is interested will have some money of their own so they only have to apply for a small loan (not 100% financing).

I guess I'm just looking for a buyer that is like myself :)

With the added expense of have a kid, we've had to tighten our budgets so I may not even put the car on insurance this year. It may just sit on jack stands until it sells. Because of this I'm hoping I find someone soon.

I may just put the wheels on and take it outside to get new pics and start a new thread and let this one die. I feel a fresh start may be needed to sell my girl.

I feel ya...kids are expensive. But just like the poster said earlier, most people that have that amount of money will more than likely not buy a msp (unless that's the only thing they want). First I was thinking maybe you should lower the price but at the same time your car is too damn clean w/ low mileage to part with it at a price lower than what you're trying to sell it for. Wow...but would it be that bad if you were (for lack of better words) stuck with it?

It wouldn't be that bad if I was "stuck" with it. It's paid off so there is no stress there. If I sell it I could pay off my current car and my wifes car so it would make our lives easier.

If it doesn't sell then I probably won't drive it at all and never put it on insurance. I'll just have a nice looking car that is a permanent fixture in my garage.

That's the main reason I want to sell it. Why have it if I don't use it?

New price - 16.5K as is or 15.5k if I keep the stock parts I have, wheels and Unichip to makes some of my money back.

Man..If this thing was slightly cheaper..I would almost consider buying it and dropping my built engine in it.

Good luck to you man.

Hey mark, a Good Advice, don't listen to any body, that car is insanely New, dont' let anybody lowball you, these car is well worth the money you are asking, considering is the best looking Sport Compact car ever, plus yours is in such of amazing condition, i really doubt my MSP was that clean when i bought it new with 0 miles on it from the dealer. if people wants it they'll pay what you are asking. also don't part anything out sell it as it is.. im pretty sure you'll find the right person, and the right person will find you !!!. I really hate when people say good luck with the sale, im pretty sure you can't get anything out there newer and better than these car for the price. so Forget those that say is too expensive or not worth it !!!! i' am one of the type of customers that if i like and agree with what i see is mine. sell it with all of the stuff you have. i wish i still live in USA, i'll buy it from you, im sure i won't find anywhere such of Jewel in that condition !!!!
