this thing keeps going off every 10 seconds, anybody know if theres a sensitivity knob for my cars factory alarm????? i searched, but it seems the older proteges have a knob so you can adjust under the dash/steering column. its driving me crazy, ive had the car for 2 months and it started about 5 days ago. i have to disconnect the battery. please help, there must be someone out there with the same problem.

thanks

lol! That's gotta suck (inout)

i thought they only went off from opening the doors or hood. i didnt think we had a shock sensor.

i got this from another forum i posted on. this looks promising, i'll see if this works and report back.

passenger side theres a panel pop it out with a screwdriver and theres a dial just play around with it. a good way to test the sensitivity is to close the doors and bang your fists on the windows like a hammer. don wry you can't break em you're too weak.

there isn't unless it was added on in certain canadian cars due to the door lock countermeasure upgrades
