OWNERS of the Injen CAI for the MS3...Q??

Now I did search for a while and just got myself pissed off. Simple Q. Does the Injen kit have a air straightener in it like the Cobb, MS and Fujita intakes do???? Thats all. And if some one says ya and it says it right here..."...".. I am going to punch my laptop. (beer)

I wasn't aware that MS and Fugita had a straigtener. My understanding is that CP-e and Cobb have them and thats about it.

Well, you might be right.......I don't know anymore. I get a CEL with my car almost 100% stock (K&N drop in filter and a forge BPV) in the cold weather. I do not think the people at Mazda expected these cars to get driven in temps below 10* like we get here in New England. It is fine when temps are 35* and above but when it hits the 20s forget it. CEL time. It's a lean idle or what ever code. I have a Ford dealer down the street and they have read and cleared the code 5 times now. Lately I just do not even bother with the dealer. I just unplug the battery when I get home and it's gone. I am afraid to do any more mods at all to this thing at this point. It shows the CEL if I friggin Fart!!!!!!!!

I have an Injen (only mod so far) and it sounds great and feels more powerful, I have no dyno results yet though

+1. i can say my injen sounds better than my friends CP-e and the power is very noticeable.

I wasn't looking to put the Injen CAI as a whole on my car. I was going to chop it up for the MAF housing and some of the tubing because I found one cheap but........I am going to do some thing else now. Something I hope will benifit everyone.

I have Fujita, TurboXS BOV and Test pipe and I've not gotten a CEL all winter. I'm just up I95 from you. Also no, no straightner in the Fujita either.

LOL........Cel......gotta love it. ANY CAI.....my car throws a CEL. Stock air box back on with a K&N and two big 4" holes in the bottom of th box......NO CEL. So, in northern USA.....stock box in winter and CAI in spring/summer I guess??
