Ridiculous Rules

Four things.

1. I'm surprised how no one mentioned (unless I missed it) that the FS rules are in place to protect BOTH the seller and the buyer. The seller can provide pictures that were taken just before the sale, proving the condition the item was in. The door swings both ways here.

2. I don't know why people are immediately bashing someone for opening a thread about the rules. Let's both be civil here.

3. To the original poster - you are lucky I didn't come across the thread. I delete them on site, not just close them (because people can still see the thread and conduct a sale via PM).

4. To the op - thank you for taking the proper pics and moving on. I sold an item myself a year ago and remember how much of a pain in the butt it was to get things going, but it was well worth it.

1. this should be common sense, but everytime this is brought up its thrown back in our faces in some sense.

2. because he came across rude, arrogant, above the law and frankly its a little old at this point to see someone start a post about crying about how they don't like the rules or the rules shouldn't apply because they have a jazillion posts under thier belt. how many times do the for sale rules need to be explained much less justified to people? if someone doesn't like the rules then either bite the bullet and live with them or leave. in the time he spent making his initial post or fighting back he could have taken those pics with the sign that was required of him.

Hey MTV, I'm selling my Ferrari Enzo for $10,000. I'm selling it so cheap because I'm tired of the speed and I don't like the attention I get in it. I take cash, cashier's checks or wire transfers to my off shore bank account only. Here are my pics:

Alright, I'll send you a cashier's check for 15,000! You cash it, keep the extra $4500 and give the driver coming to collect the car the $500 for him to transport it!!

Seriously, if you post on the boards anywhere, you're accepting and agreeing to the terms of the board. Let's close this thread already. But, make sure you send a warning to MTV that it's getting closed!
