installing my nos on my ms3. few ?

It was called NOS long before F&F. NOS (the company) was probably the only Nitrous kit company for many years, at least well known, so back in the day us ol' timers all used the term NOS. Now, the F&F generation dont know any better and complain about using the term. Whatever to that.

Props on the install with the NITROUS my man!

i think it would work better on the other side of the IC. i bet you are loseing a lot of power. the cols nitrous i the hot IC is going to condensate and not flow well. not to mention nitrous is an oxidizer, if it puddle in the IC it will begin to tear up the metal.

Take some pics of your install. As suggested, move the nozzle to the outter end of the IC, rubber boot closest to the cooling fans. Youre power will go up.. You should double the torque of the shot. So, 35 shot should = 70 lbs of torque.

edited: looked at my dyno sheet. i was only off by a few horspower

yes i know that by moveing it by the throtle body i will see bigger gains. but im trying to keep it as safe as possible. i dynoed it on a mustang dyno and it made 242whp and 239wtq with out the NOS and with it,it made 267whp and 292wtq. and the airfuels were still in the 10.5 area.im happy with the numbers considering i only have a mscai. but i should have ran it open downpipe. it would of made better numbers.

oh and ill take some picks with my phone of the install and my dyno sheet when i get time.maybe by this weekend ill have the pics up.

i have to look at my dyno sheet again but those shold be the correct numbers. if not ill post the correct ones.

oh and to those that may think my number are low when of the nos. remember this was done on a mustang dyno wich usually puts out less than other dynos by about 10 to 15%. so that would put me at like 278whp and 274wtq give or take on what percentage u use to calculate.i used 15%.

Agreed Mustang dynos are heart breakers for most people. Good numbers hope the dry shot works out in the long run.

that's brave of you on the dry kit..good job! wonder what it would do if you sprayed at the throttle body? becareful as with most turbo cars it will make more power than you have jetted for, but I would think that with the colder plugs and the wide band you could try it at the t-body and see what it does. that thing really responded well to the gas huh?? gotta love turbos and n2o!

edit; what brand did you go with?

someone had to try it. it actually made less than the shot i put in but made almost double in torq. this is becouse it has to travel through the inercooler first. i still need the part number for the colder plugs. but the airfuels are safe to run atleast a 50 shot dry. it at 10.5 with my 35 shot. the kit im useing is the nitrous express mainline EFI kit. i just converted it to a dry shot.

that's cool man! i bet with a wet kit you could spray a 75 shot safely. how is the tranny feeling with that? does it come on suddenly and shock the system at all?

im going to run it at the track with the 35 shot first then ill do the 50 shot

Cool! when are you going?

ill run mine on 100... hopefully motor don't blow up

I would be careful with such a large shot...If you tune for it it should be no diff then adding a larger turbo to the car.

you're gonna need fuel!

Why not do a little nitrous, and a little meth-water injection? This is a pretty safe combo from what I've read. You'll get your fuel from the the methanol.

That would work too but would require the whole system to work together with a good tune...the way he has it now is simple...Forgive my ms3 newbness but is there anyway to tap for fuel on the stock fuel system on this car?
