AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

Need the R4 Software. Can anyone please help upload the iso or possibly just zip it up to rapidshare/alternatives? Thanks!

Afc

Hi Guys, just installed my AFC on my stock Protege speed.... Man what a sweet diffrence it made! Nice smooth acceleration, lower fuel usage and over all driveability is way up. And this is only on a stock car! I cannot wait to have my exhaust, intercooler and AEM CAI installed. This is going to be a really sweet daily driving car! (band2)

I am using the supermap and install was a breeze! Everything is running A1 and on first startup! (headbang)

later folks!

i'm planning on geting an AFC and getting rid of the emanage....

between a V1 and V2, what are the differences?
one is twice as expesinve as the other. i have money for the most expensive one but i don't want to spend twice as much for almost no difference.

i'd rather buy two things :)

V2 is only like 60 bucks more i think and it lets you connect your AEM wideband gauge up to the AFC for Datalogging.

well i have not really got to tune my car yet but from what i have gathered in info is that if you have V2 you can just go do 3rd gear pulls and go home and look at the data and work on your map that way, and if you have V1 you have to stay looking at your A/F ration gauge and rememeber where you are running rich or where you are running lean, personally i would go with V2 but V1 is really cheap, but like you said if you have the money then i would get v2

what do you think?
better spend the money on the v2?
or the v1 is also a good choice?

i'm leaning towards V2, because in the long run, V2 pays itself on tunning.
i do understand you still need to dyno tune, but any modification you do, you just modify that one tune and be done.

V2 it is then...

Well let me know how it works out for you when you get it installed.

is that a FACT?

absolutely shure?

why did i even bother with emanage then...hmm

No, i lied. It looks like they never went through with that feature. They were afraid of people blowing their engines up because of timing control. Based in my research Split Second uses just ONE unit for all of their various versions, all they do is wire it differently. If one could remove all the protective coating on the inside of V1 it would be easy to rewire the unit to your needs, including timing, O2 logging, etc...
