AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

not sure if it has been stated, but can use the AFC with the stock P5/ sedan ecu and an msp turbo setup

OF COURSE, wouldn't see the reason why not.
only thing i guess you have to do is tune it. because the maps i think are based off how rich the MSP ECU is. and the P5 is leaner...so...

i figured it would, but i wasn't sure if the MSP had different timing for the higher octane gas

the AFC is universal.
the thing is that it is tuned for a certain car, you'll need to tune it for your car

OK so i been reading thru most of this. i am just kinda confused.. i got a AFC V2. The install seems simple enough.. but i have 2 main questions..

1) where have you guys Mounted the actual AFC unit?
2) once installed are the preinstalled maps already programmed in and i can just start driving? or do i have to select the preinstalled map and then start driving? i dont see the maps on my install cd (i assume they are already in the unit?).

BTW this is a stock MSP.... (for now ;))

For this car, it comes with the super map installed. All you need to do is install it right and start the car! I would recommend you get a wideband O2 sensor and that way you can monitor AF ratios.

I have version 2 and it ran perfect on first start up! I noticed a very very good response underboost.... no more hesitations!

Good luck and enjoy !

Just got my wideband hooked up to afc v.2 and did some datalogging, well the car runs really good but isn't always consistant on it's afr's. I usually stay around 10.7-12.2 at WOT but would like to stay under 11.8 to be conservative. I also found out that the stock injectors are sometimes running at 102% or more so I will need to get larger ones. I will have to do some street tuning once I feel confident with the software and all the settings. When I get a good map I will post it up with a list of mods.

Interesting info to know. I will probably be in the same boat as I will be running a GT25R with GT28RS internals around 10 psi (ATP wastegate). I have some 440's but that's going to require a fair amount of tuning - throughout all psi and RPM ranges I believe.

i mounted mine on the sidewall of my glove box, well hidden but easy accesible (spelling)

ah, good place then, mines inside the glove box, pretty good place i think too

I need to relocate mine...

one quetsion...the map loaded on the afc has all cells filled with 10.2....doens't ssound right to me.....

anyone has any map that kinda works with the mods on my list?

i have this posted in another thread but i think i will get more of a response in this thread.

Hay are saying that cause the instructions were wrong, i was confused on the last step in the wiring instructions, the wire color did not match the pin #, the color wire they were talking about was down by 1 or 2 pins. So i went with the color and right know my car runs like s***. But it did run fine when i just had exhaust, intake and FMIC but i cant connect to the AFC the labtop is saying there no power to the ECU,

k but it would just seem that my car would not run if it was wired up wrong but im going to look at during lunch and hopefully thats the problem.

some wires don;t match by color...they amtch by pin number.
i think it's ****** up.
i went by pin number....but i already knew most of the wires by heart since they are the same one for emanage.
