I looked at mine at 5k and was like holly s***!
I realize that now I have to rotate them every 2500 miles and when I go in for oil changes at 5k I will have the dealer rotate and balance them.
Friends dad just did a tread maeasurement and fronts were at 5/32 and rears 8/32 but I am not sure what they started at. Looking at the rears they look nearly new so I assume somewhere around 8/32 was where it started.
I dont drive crazy all the time just jump on it here and there and dont corner like crazy too often either.
If I can pull 15-20k out of these tires I am thinking they are the best choice for the car and would buy them again but friends dad said I will likely get 12k out of them is all.
Also if you look at the outer edge of the tire then look 1 row in there is a sort of stretched "S" groove pattern in the tire and that s*** is so thin its near the stabilizer bar below it already. There is a stabilizer bar on each strip pattern of the tire but its odd that the "S" design will be long gone before the tire is even near the wear bar that is perpindicular to the tire. Why do you think that is?
And if anyone knows a good tire choice for cheaper then $200 each let me know. I hear the Kumos are pieces of s*** so I wont put $500 of crap on the car if I can put $800 worth of money well spent.
