yup...sure enough are.
And you're not knockin cause people have all this hype built up around how terrible Ebay seats are...
i bought these wanting to test them out thinking that if i did not like them i could sell them easily for what i payed.
understand that i have owned 2 corbeau seats and i must say the quality of these ebay seats are almost the same as the high name brand seats.
Now i am in no way trying to spark a debate.. i know and have read about 500,000,003 opinions on this topic....just wanted to give my two cents.
But for now i am enjoying the seats (first)

seats look great. how did you mount them up? did you use universal sliders or what?

Thanks.
I used universal sliders but had to completely fabricate seat frame myself... it was probably more trouble than it was worth, but i like the outcome.

Noxide, I think you may want cross the belts. I know that's the way the Schroths are....but i love the MS seats. Looks perfect, like it belongs in there.

Yeah my fear is if I got into an accident if the seats would stay connected to the car or if they would snap or something. I like the real(name brand) deal only because they are certified for car use. I know you didn't want another opinion, i'm sure you have heard plenty. I actually want to know how much play do they have when you lean back on them? I sat in a similar pair and felt a bit uncomfortable of the play it had in the back support.

It actually has very little play...my friends 1994 Cobra's seats have more play than these have. When i bought them i didnt actually think that i would keep them. i was more interested on how they would look and the quality i would recieve for the price. I think i paid $600 shipped, maybe a little more. But they actually worked. i was shocked.

That's the pride and joy of my interior right now. I'll post up pics of the rest after I get a little work done on it soon. Right now I only have the dg bezel and shift plate piece. Soon enough they'll be a greddy e0-1, prosport guages, and a nardi wheel along w/other goodies :)

Bride seats are killer.

For those who have not figured it out yet, the "MS" logo above Mazdaspeed on any product means that it is not an official Mazdaspeed product.

Thanks to L8R's thread I found about how to remove the stock wheel. I don't have my horn hooked up yet (because I need to figure it out... lol). Took a while to get it straight... taking it off and back on and off and back on and off and back on...

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pix... wife has the digicam with her.

i just put a removable wheel in my car too but i used the NRG slim hub and NRG quick release so i can still reach the stalks. As for hooking up the horn i am assuming you ran into the problem that you need to have contact on the back of the hub? if so lmk i will take some pics of my setup there is a pretty simple fix for it.

is it illegal to have one of these steering wheels? i would think that removing an airback sounds like a no-no with the law.
