Hello all,
My driver's side low beam just died. I got just over a year's worth of usage from silvannia's silverstars... was happy with them originally, but after about 6 months the output seemed to begin to drop. Also just read an interesting article I found on this forum when searching for headlight suggestions about how these "white light" halogens actually put out less overall light compared with standard bulbs.
So, my question to my fellow 5'ers is this... what has your experience been with the different options of halogens? Which seemed to last the longest? And which put out the most light? Silvania? OEM? Other?
Also, please note that I will be staying with Halogen vs. the conversion to HID's.
Thanks in advance for the help!
