not to start s*** but you guys know that this has more HP than a stock p5 and has AWD right????

the body is ugly as heck but i wish my mp5 was AWD =(

I know this may be a little of topic, but I think that car is a pretty close competitor to our P5.

I was driving into work today and saw one on the road (finally). Man, that thing is soo ungly. I don't know what the Suzuki designers were thinking when they penned it. Ugh...

ahhhh considering your comment in the second paragraph....

just HOW do you consider it a CLOSE competitor? that POS dosn't hold a candle to the P-5. its a lame attempt to get into or a piece of a nitch market......that is about it.

man my roomate was going to get that after i brought my p5 home.. after i labeled it the red headed stepchild of sport wagons he pretty much gave up..

i think that after the release of the P5 and seeing how good a car almost straight from japan could be marketed in the US, suzuki jumped on the bandwagon...the aerio is a basic design of most cars in asia...small, wierd looking, cheap...suzuki should stick with crotch rockets

Sad thing is, one was sitting in the showroom at the Mazda dealership i'm buying my MSP from...they can't sell it...especially not sitting in a showroom with Mazda6 and MSP.

Yeah, they do make pretty good sport bikes. The cruisers are way ugly and the dirt stuff isn't that great either. They are making a killing on the naked bike SV650, tho. You wouldn't believe how many people race those things on the track.

If it's a Suzuki engined car that you're wanting, I suggest
this...

I've ridden in a real '69 Lotus Seven with maybe 120 whp and it was a go-kart. I can't even imagine what this thing would be like. I think it's the Hayabusa tranny too, so that means six speed sequential tranny.

Oh Yeah, I forgot about the Escudo. I've got one of those...OK, Gran Turismo on Playstation... ;-)

I can see it now, a thread title in another forum around the block "Protege owners bashing Areio!" Sound familiar?

Man, I saw another one today! That makes 2 in as many days. This one had a 'Thrify' rental car sticker on it, so I guess I'll let that one slide. I didn't know they were AWD. I knew they had the same size motor though.

Yep - they look like a bastardized SMART car.

As for the AWD Mazda P5....I think it's been said before - but the price would jump a bunch, and then it'd compete with Suby buyers...and more than likely loose.
