whats the difference between a mazdaspeed and the protege headlight?

i need a mazdaspeed L driver side headlight for my 03.5 speed and can't find one but found a protege and was wondering whats the difference between the two. thanks

absolutely nothing. there are only 4 different 3rd gen headlights: sedan in chrome or "metal" coat, and protege5 in chrome or black.

no, 2001 and some 2002 LX and DX models had chrome surround lights.

if your profile is correct, you also have an MP3, which was basically a modified ES.

Either way my neighbor has an 01 dx 1.6 and his headlights are black

that may be true, but it didn't come from the factory that way.
