HKS SUCKS DO NOT BUY.

And one of my HKS lights blew. I will see what HKS says. I never had my PIAA lights blow out, so hopefully they will take care of me...

There's just something about H7s. I bought cheapo-brand H3's, H7, and 9005's. All of the have work about 8 months except for the H7's which lasted a week. I've been through around 4 sets of aftermarket H7's. Damn things!(notcool)

Yeah i've given up on aftermarket bulbs. Most of them are just overpriced junk. They really aren't any brighter or better than the stock bulbs besides the fact that they are a softer color. By the time you go through a few sets, you could have just bought a real HID conversion or spent the money on something else. Just my .02

Well I was going to do a group buy but.

Everything is on hold until , I see what HKS is going to do.
So far I got oh well, we cant do anything about it because it a grey market Item.
What Grey Item? And then was told that the company they buy them from will not cover them in the good old USA.
So I called and asked why?
Piaa, that is 5 dollars more has cover others who had problems.
This is the response I got in a email.

Dear customer,

Please direct your formal complaint to my email address and I will forward it accordingly.
We cannot promise you that we can remedy this issue, but we will try the best we can.

I had to replace them with Sylvania bulbs because a cop said fix it or get a ticet. So went to pep boys and replaced the h7 bulbs, and got out a ticket.

if it's the just bulbs then it's ok...but if it's the bulbs and causing headlight assembly having mists..then it's big problem..
happened me before... I finally decided to get HID kit.
no more worries for me...

How much was the Kit?

How hard was it to install?

really simple. It took me about half hour because I was figuring where to mount put ballasts, anything that it was just plug and play. so easy even I did it!!! :)

Were did you get the kit>?

Well group buy is dead. Never BUY HKS lights...

This is what I get when you buy from a company , that is not as big as PIAA.
At this point and time I would not recomend HKS lights at all.
I will be going back to PIAA, or upgrading to HID.
But when I get told one thing, then yo buy it. And the parts fall. Oh well.
I learned a 56 dollers oopps.
So if yo buy anything from HKS USA be carfull and really read the fine print..
Again stay away from HKS lights...
They do not hold up like PIAA's.
I can say that from what happened .

Dear Mr. Ron C,

Thank you for brining this issue to our attention. Though HKS USA Inc. attempts to provide the best customer service within our means, I am sorry to inform you that HKS USA Inc. can not honor any warranty claims on the HKS Powerbeam bulbs at this time. The reason being is that the manufacturer of the bulbs does not warranty them to HKS Co. Ltd. In turn, HKS Co. Ltd. does not offer any type of warranty on this product to HKS USA Inc.

In our defense:
First, it is listed on our site that there are no returns for online sales after 15days. The message is also under special exceptions and states that light bulbs cannot be returned whatsoever.

http://www.hksusa.com/info/?id=1468

Secondly, when you put the light bulbs into your shopping cart, the website automatically states that These products are NON RETURNABLE for safety reasons.

Thirdly, once you click Proceed to Checkout from your shopping cart and you enter all your billing and shipping info, the website forces you to click Terms, Conditions, Payment for you to go any farther. That button takes you to: https://www.hksusa.com/cart/secure/confirm_terms.asp (you will have to enter your information to view this link) in which you agree to by submitting your order.

These strict procedures have been in effect ever since the website allowed customers to buy directly from HKS USA Inc, and have not been altered in anyway since.

Please understand that this is a difficult decision for us to make but it must stand at this point in time. We apologize for any inconveniences that you may have encountered in regards to this product.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us again.

Regards,

In other words - thanks for wasting your hard-earned money on our bad product that we're more than willing to sell to you but don't care enough to back up. I can understand the 4 mo window but that letter is just a slap in the face. I understand the logistics of the whole deal but they didn't need to put it to you like that - "In our defense..." WTF is that!? Whatever! That's s****, dude. Looks like you got screwed and they certainly weren't going to include the KY... can't even provide some customer service, just customer let-down. The least they could have done is give you some sort of credit or something. Sorry, man!

PIAA

PIAA lights I had in my 95 cav are still working .
The bulbs were put in 3 years ago.. HMMMM
Lets see what brand is engineered better?

I've had Eurolite 9007's in my Mustang for over 3 years and they're still good. Have had my Eurolite H7's in the P5 for over a month now. Still no burn out *knock on wood*

Why don't u guys try out the silverstars? Cheaper than the PIAA lightbulbs. Stock wattage so it doesn't burn your harness and cause electrical problems. In my opinion..they are pretty damn bright.

I paid 67CDN shipped from www.powerbulbs.com
