Well, I'm sure this is quite expected, but tonight (midnight) I was out driving, and the car was way faster. There is no question as to why- it is waaay cooler out. But, the water injection was supposed to help make it cooler all the time. But, anyway, I was running 15 psi tonite using the setting on my Blitz controller that usually only yields 12-13 psi, meaning that the turbo is way more efficient when it is cooler out (duh). Anyway, the point of this post is that I am going to move the nozzle closer to the intercooler so that the mix has more time to atomize, and I am going to move the tank to the trunk, because I tested the system today and it was spraying very hot water/alc from the nozzle.
So, I'll hit the track again next Friday to see if my feeble attempts at cheap horsepower work. Don't hold your breath, but it can't hurt to try.
