Very Improtant Please Read

:
2003 Mazda Protege
what is that canister thing on the drivers side right behind the bumper??

it started to leak big time

i think its the AC but need some help here please ASAP!

yeah, that belongs to the a/c and since your car is a 2003, if it has had no a/c services other than recharges, it needs to be changed. no big deal. these cars use the over-the-counter 134a refrigerant and lubricant so the recharge should be cheap after the canister is replaced.

Are the bolts for the lines tight? I have one of those canisters and the lines from when i removed my A/C if you need it. PM me if you want them

it was the line that cracked, right at the bottom of the line its tweaked somehow, my warranty ended like just this friday so im hoping they;ll cover it monday

If they dont cover it take a pic of the line you need and let me know. I will hook you up. Just pay shipping.

alright im down, its the one that goes to the drivers side, going away from the rad, i see it connects to another peice above the throtle body

I think I've got the same issue, whenever the car sits I get a puddle of something that isn't oil, antifreeze, trans fluid etc etc. Is it my ac? or just condensation?

yours it probably just condinsation, when mine blew the line had a crack in it and sprayed out like putting a hold in a spray can

condinsation is normal for all cars, trust me you'd know if it happened to you, it stinks and there is ALOT of pressure in there, went for like 10 mins before stopping

That is the line right. I can send the whole thing or just the half that goes to the dryer (little canister thingy) PM me when figure out what your gonna do.

i believe thats the reciever/dryer. Make sure when u install a new line, DO NOT MAKE A RESTRICTION. as in don't bend any part of the line just to make it easier for you to install. the way it comes, install it as it is.
