MSP, The BLACKNESS!
I have a Vericom VC200 Race version that will read 0-60, 1/4 mile, lateral g-forces, braking, hp, torque and some other stuff.
Pretty cool as it was free!

Now I can run it and see what difference 11PSI makes.

Haha- talk about old school- that is like the G-techs great grandfather :).. Works though- used to be very popular in the bigger $$$ street/strip cars..

Well

It's an in car computer that can read different forces acting on the car to give you an accurate understanding of your car's performance. Like in an car dyno, quater mile timer, 0-60 timer, g-force sensor, 60-0 distance etc.

Oldy

Ah Joey some how I knew you could appreciate this piece of vintage equipment. I used to have a few Chevelles, El-Caminos, and a 72 GMC with a stroked small block with ported aluminum heads and a ported lower manifold TPI setup.
My first car was 470HP 69 Chevelle my Dad bought me in 87.
It was a crazy ride leaded gas and all.
One of my favorites was a 65 El-Camino with a factory 340HP vette small block in it with a solid lift cam and an under the dash factory AC system.

Nice little assortment of cars there :).

Yes, it is vintage :).. I haven't seen one sincxe late 80's-early 90's I think. I know a friend had one in like 92-93 and it was supposedly a few years old then :).

The Reagan era.

Dude this is late cold war tech circa 1986!
Yes this mutha fugga is going to be 20 years old in just under 2.5 yrs.
It was the height of the metal years, the muscle car craze was just really taking off, big hair was on guys and girls, and gasoline was 83 cents a gallon.
Lets see when this was new Metallica had just released Master of Puppets, Cliff Burton was decapitated and I was in drivers ed.

Muscle car craze was just really taking off??? Lemme tell ya, young whippersnapper, Mopar was running Hemi V8s with auto trannies in drag racing in the early 60s and kicking butt!!!! AND the auto trannies were pushbutton controlled! Before men walked on the moon! Not to mention GTOs, 427 Cobra racers (with Kammback tails), 440 Super Bees with six pack carbs, etc., etc., ramble, mumble, mmmzzzzzzz......

:p

What I meant was the resurgence or intrest in 60' early 70's Detroit iron :)
Many 30's to 40's aged people were really looking for that car they wanted in high school and the market was taking off for all of the names. I happen to be into the GM iron.
I had many ahem..."grown up's" asking to buy my Chevelle on an almost weekly basis as it was prestine and had only 30k miles on it allthough it had a 470HP 388 cubic inch roller camed stroker small block under the hood it looked dead stock.

why not just get hks type 1?
Well this only has to be plugged into the lighter outlet and suctioned cupped to the windshield. Then I can set it up to tell me peak horse power, torque, breaking distance, lateral g's etc.
It does a whole lot more and it was FREE. :D

And...it looks so cool...like a desktop computer hangin from your windshield. Nobody will mess w/ you on the road when they see that thing..
