Uneven wear on back tires of MS6

We have a 11 month old MS6 wih stock tires. After 10k miles, both rear tires have worn to the point where the tred band to the right of the center band is almost completely smooth. The front tires still look new. Mazda did not perform a tire rotation at 7,500 miles, and says that this is normal wear. Has anyone had this problem???????

Didn't notice any unusual wear on my summer tires when I put on the winters and I have probably more mileage on them than you over 13 months. I have my snows on now, but I'll check my summer tires when we return home after the holidays.
