turbo upgrade question. help pls

So im looking to get more power. I already have 2.5 exhaust and also front mount intercooler, but i was thinking in upgrading my turbo. From my understandig stock msp comes w garret t25 ive seen people go with a garret t3/t4 is that a better upgrde? How much of a difference ? How much more psi i could run? And besides turbo manifold and downpipe what else do i need to upgrade turbo.? Every little bit of info helps please everyone ans rhanka!

what are you at for boost right now? also if you dont have one your next buy should be a ssafc or something to tune with!.. your safe close to the 10psi and the factory turbo will push that no reason to go bigger unless A. your turbo is shot or B. your forged and need more than the factory turbo will push.. i take that back if your playing with boost i hope you have a wideband o2! if not def get that then a SSAFC then a manual or electronic boost controler work your way up MAKING SURE YOUR TUNED PROPERLY.. by the time you get that far you should be $1,000 in then see what your thoughts are from there you dont want to skip steps more power is fun and addicting but never pass on the security features like a tune and wideband.. new turbo doesnt mean anything if you have a blown motor anyhow think that over

A. A GOOD WIDEBAND
B. Some way to tune unichip,ssafc, etc

u could try getting a gt28rs and running it on low boost. bet you would get more power from that than a t25

You're factory internals are a ticking time bomb my friend,no one told me this when I started best the BEST ADVISE is save your money until you have enough for internals,ECU,LSD and a tune...There will be more stuff but that will get u up there. You said you want more power,but you won't get RELIABLE fun and power from this car is just a fact. I'm not trying to deter you just something for you to think about. The"for sale" section can be you best friend all of those things can be had for well below store prices if you wanna start modding now.
