Good to know, though I'm going to start off with a 195/50 summer tire (bfg comp2) so I shouldn't have any rubbing issues. Right now I'm still torn between that and the 15x7 +42's since 99% of the time its just a daily driver. I've still got time to think about it, I'm not pulling the trigger just yet.
I see zero reason to go with anything wider than a 195 anyway, all the leading autocross and track guys are running them, and have posted worse times when they've tested 205 and wider. The car's so small and light that 195 is ample grip, and anything more is just pointless mass.
