We won't know much more til the order guides come out in Nov. The 5.0 will be the GT motor, not a high end motor. They're not going to run with 3 motors for two trim levels. V6 will have the 3.7 and the GT will have the 5.0. GT500 is getting either a 5.8 S/Ced or possibly a TT 5.0 (which is code named 'Road Runner') in 2012.
Also, there's been a lot of talk on several Mustang forums from people 'in the know' that the price increase in 2010 was made to help soften the blow for the 2011. It will go up, but theres not much room to wiggle if they want to stay competitive.
Even so (I have heard there are 3 motors, rumors though as anything is right now) 36k for a Mustang GT is retarded... No matter how you look at it that is expensive for that car, period!
