Spool CAI Install

Well me and my friend installed the spool cai. It took us some time mostly because we had to go to ACE to pick up a tool. Once it was installed and we let it idle we went for a drive. Let me tell you it sounds nasty, the turbo seems to spool up earlier and is much louder. Also the BPV is louder too. I love it. The car pulls harder through all gears and sounds very nice. Spool was a big help because we had some problems with the install but they straightened it all out for us. Thanks alot guys....love the product.

jonnydoe48 with the stock bpv it more of a wooshing sound. He had a problem intially with accidently capping off a sensor but its all good now........glad to hear you like it

Yea it kinda sounds like the first link u posted.
They are $175. However if I get enough peopl ewe can work out a group buy and get some real good pricing going......any takers?

I think my cars broken or something. I don't hear that noise in this link http://www.turbodreamsdvd.com/misc/mspintake.mpg *crys* Is there some reason mine would not make that? I WANT THAT SOUND All i can ever hear is the air being sucked in the intake, and the spool of the turbo.

If your kit got rid of all the plastic for the intake I would gladly buy it, if it was the same price as the injen. I hate seeing all that plastic under my hood. it makes me want to cry

you need an open air filter of some sort. the stock box muffles the sound too much.

So when I get my Injen (most likley) I will hear that fluttery sound, the pfffffft sound? All these lil sounda amuse me lol i was sad when i realized i didnt have that sound!
