what the ... why are your nuts blue????
Cause they were too tight...

hehehe

I think i am going to get one soon. The install isn't too difficult is it?
No, it's not too difficult, as long as you can get your dang nuts off.

My wife gets my nuts off. ..Oh wait, that's a different repetitive ongoing project. OK, been on a few long range varying cruises after install. It's definitely better than the half broke oem with rr racing inserts but haven't experienced the "magical" difference that has been raved about but I still like it & the car is better off with it. The door locks now are a different story, they kick ass with the new master lock billet bezel. That old black plastic bezel was suckin ass.

lol wtf, lock bezel? I hope you're kidding.

Yes, I was kidding about the lock bezel working better but it does add more silver. Looks better is all. Wasn't willing to pay 36.00 for it when mam was selling them but 15.00 was OK. EDIT - Uh, the motor mount is breaking in? Yeah, that too.

Well on the front motor mount I wouldn't recommend a jack stand.. 1 because you won't be able to fit it under the engine without the car jacked up, and 2 because when the engine is in neutral position, there's no tension at all on the front mount (i.e. it isn't weight bearing) so it's best to not even jack up the car to install the front mount.

so does the car have to be in neutral when you change out the mounts?

No Kansei was talking about the neutral position of the motor, not the neutral gear of the transmisson.

That is true aMaff, the search function or manual searching is very valuable. Though I am not sure if his question about the neutral position would come up, so I wanted to answer him. I also like people not feeling like they are stupid and should not ask questions. Though I get your point, you do not want people asking without looking.

Tempted to get some for my MSP. Especially at the (relatively) low price.

Basically I'm looking for any excuse to get under my hood with a wrench.

word.

I'm a little worried though cause after a few weeks I can feel significant engine movement again with the front SLS mount installed. I just ordered the passenger side mount to try and solve the problem.

Does AWR make a rear mount that SLS doesn't?
cheers
