Running out of options

I want to keep my engine N/A because although I would enjoy a turbo, my wife wouldn't :-). I have plenty of things I would like to do appearence wise to my P5, but first comes performance. You see what I have already below, plus I plan on getting some ignition wires, but I'm running out of bolt-on options. Sure, I could get the head done, but I think Ill pass. Any suggestions?
 
Enjoy the car the way it is and save up for somehting else with more options or until you can get an MSP or a turbo kit.
 
I'm satisfied with the car so it will be a long time before I get a new one, and I'm not really interested in a turbo. Besides, since getting home from Iraq, my wife has really pushed me to get her a newer 4Runner (hers is a 2000)

well i already spent quite a bit on my car (LOL) and some other things I wanted, and I made the mistake of telling her she needed a new truck before i left LOL!!!
 
Your car brand new was 18K at most, hers will be $35K.
How is that fair agian.
Tell her she can have it once SHE gets back from Iraq. :D
 
LOL...well...im gonna spend a bunch on looks once I finish with my bolt-ons so thats how i placate her about spending money "hooking up" my car, i buy her a whole damn car
 
Ah I got it, a trump card of sorts, She can never b**** about you spending money after that becuase you can bring up the 4-Runner.
 
not a big fan of the new 4 runner. to much grey plastic. Get a lex rx330 for a few more G's.

cancel your header order and just put that towards your turbo.

for me turbo was the only way to go, i knew i wanted it from the start, so instead of buying bolt on that would be useless with a turbo i just saved and waited till i could afford the turbo and other performance mods i wanted. I drop my car off on the 28th for my turbo, i cant tell you how excited i am.

EXACTLY :-) so when my CF Hood, pulleys, CF dash trim from DGM, my RH CP5 rims, and all that s*** come in during one week, i can say "but you got a whole damn truck!"
 
unfortunitly you should know it won't work. Your bassing this off a womens mind being rational, doesn't work that way. She will come up with a 10000 reasons why the car is yours to or the kids aswell and all that crap.
Just do what you want and ignore the complaints, they get the point eventualy. :D
 
If you're thinking about turbo for your P5, you should definitely wait until the Mazdaspeed P5 comes out, and then just sell your current P5.

Then, it's factory tuned and under warranty.
 
i had seriously thought of that, but what else do i need? will i need to get new springs, or can i just install the cams and be done with it? also, did you notice a difference with your cat converter smithers? i have a magnaflow but i havent put it on yet i was waiting to do it when i do my headers
