but back on topic.. thanks a ton for the installed pics.. so it is indeed waaay simple.

Daedalus,

Would you be able to get a better picture of the back of the head, above the intake manifold? I want to see what you did with those two lines back there going to the IM.

This silver connection (with the KV) goes right onto the intake manifold nippley thingy. The other port connects to the yellow hose which really should not concern you as its connects to an actuator that creates a vacuum leak when i turn on the A/C so the car idles up and doesn't die with the microtech.

I'm not sure how the stock setup is.... its been too many years since anything resembling stock with my PCV system has been in the engine bay. Sorry i'm not more help. If nothing else, you could just cap it off. I know i originally had the intake manifold ports capped off when i was running PCV > Catch Can.

I've checked and there isn't much room to connect the smaller KV past the BVP valve into the intake manifold. Maybe with a loop it'll work...

Ya I figured that....i'll see when I get it, maybe I'll just redo the hoses and make them longer to allow the KV to fit there.

Kane.S2k,

Please apply for authorized vendor status by contacting Antoine if you are going to continue doine business on these forums. Here are the rules here: http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54156

in his defense this was simply an informative thread. Somehow he linked here or was referred from the s2k site. Sure he's gotten some more orders as a result, but he had no intention of bringing this info here. IMO it's not fair to ask him this now...

Yeah talk of the product began on here before he came along. If the product works, it's by far the best pcv solution for our cars. I'm sure he isn't dying for our business.. if he needs to pay money to be a part of this community, just because he has a product that fulfills a need all us turbo proteges have.. ugh. Am I going to start receiving a Mazda Forums bill charging me for every time I link someone to tirerack.com, store.summitracing.com, etc? Or is it ok for them to make money off this community because they aren't directly helping us?

...

No, I was under the understanding that the link posted was his. If that is true, then ordering through that link would mean he was doing business here. That being said, would it be fair to the other authorized vendors? People are quick to jump to conclusions. I am not getting paid from this site, so my involvment stops at the rules which I am supposed to enforce. That is all. For the record, I just bought some Krank Vents.

yeah I know it's not your rules, you're just enforcing them. I'm just getting tired of figuring out what I am and am not allowed to post links to when people ask questions..

I'm just waiting on someone to say "OMG, NO MORE BLOWBY" and I'll hit the buy button :)

Oh yeah, how did you buy them? Is the link working now?

Hahaha!

On my side, before I commit nearly 200$ (Canadian) for something that manufacturer haven't though about in a century, I've ordered 2 one-way plastic check valves for less than 20 bux (shipping included). I'll see if it works without stressing out about the expense!

Let us know how that works out.
