okay this is the second in my series some of you remember the first one, well i baught everything i planned on some is still being shipped but im running into another project money situation
this time i'll have approximately 1 grand.

im looking @ two situation and i need help making a decision.

situation one, i could buy the erebuni body kit, and tein springs.

Problem with this is, not enuf money to paint it or put it on. i could put the springs on tho.

situation two, buy cf hood, probably the vis hood, springs, bov, m3 power mirrors w/o led.

problem, cant put the mirrors on until i get the body kit becuz i want to have the hood body kit and mirrors painted all at the same time so the colors are as close as possible.

Either way i go there is a item that will have to wait till later to be painted becuz i need to collect everything i want painted b4 i put it on. sept the hood, i can put the hood on an cruise full carbon fiber until i go to get everything painted.

So which would you guys do?

what would you guys buy with the 1 grand?

just came to me.

form the last project money, i baught a tv
i'll be recieving it and installing it this week
maybe with that one grand this could be another possiblity,

buying a security system for the car, one wiht a two way remote that. hrm....
another possiblity the one im looking at is around 500 so i could still buy springs and other what not items.

i want a killer security system one with the 2 way remote that alerts you wiht the lil lcd screen on ur keychain. i want something really sufisticated.

maybe this as a third posibility
security system / radar detector

could you guys list some really good radar detectors and some really good security systems you guys have seen?

i think pirana has the security with the LED keychain, he could control all his lights and start his car with it too...

As far as radar detectors go i want one that isn't dash mounted i dont want it to be visible i want a sensor in front and back 360 sense also, and be able to put the display anywhere in the car.

IMO, Use the 1 grand to help pay off your car. Afterall depending on your payments, that makes you that much more ahead. My payments are $295.52 a month, but i usually pay $355.52 a month to pay it off sooner, then i can do alot more to it once i'm no longer in debt.

LOL considering i live at home and all i have to make is my car payment which is 485, im not really hurtting for anything, so i use one paycheck to make my carpayment save the extra and my second full paycheck goes into my car. so... lets be more constructive, i want mods if i was interested in paying off the car, then i would have taken the 1300 i put into it thus far and put it into paying off the car but im not. but thanks for the idea.

eibach springs - 229 (unless someone has a link for goldline springs)
injen cai - 250
bypass valve - ??? (dont really need it buy might)
greddy type s bov - 219
recirc tube - ??? (i hear spoolin sales this i emailed them about it, we'll see what they say and a cost.)
hose techniques - 55
vacuum / boost guage - 50 (replacing my 35psi one, that i baught at 5 am and wasn't paying attention)
comes out to about 803 dollars i believe b4 shipping cost.
i think this is a better way to spend the 1k i have.

well sound domain has it for 220, im guess this is the average price of the system.

circuit city wants 547 i think it was for the system with install
so

547 - 220 = 327 cost more to install than it does to buy it.

erebuni body kit suck. don't like them. you should get the DG/ AutoEXE/mintblue body kits. those are good stuff. also i would go with the Spool springs not the eibach.
