Pope DP install question

Does anybody have a picture of the t-stat spacer that the pope offers? Or if you have it installed, how did you get clearance between the DP and the lower radiator hose, or what did you use to make sure that the hose didn't melt?

Thanks for advice in advance!

You answered your own question without even realising it.... or you could do a straight water neck and get the cleance you need that speedcircut offers
Edit: See page two for spacer

My hose rad is like 0.5" from downpipe, is it any chance of melting/burning of something like that? This type of hose can take a lot of temp from what i know but i dont know if it can handle the downpipe heat ?

I guess I have to install it and see what kind of clearances I have. If I can install it without it touching at all, then I won't worry about it. I already have the DP, and I'm really stretched on cash right now, so if I don't have to order the Pope's spacer, I don't want to.

And Bock, does yours show any signs of damage from being that close to the DP?

I only drived the car 1-2 time with my pope dp installed. I cant see anykind fof damage right now. i will keep a look on the hose for sure..

Mine too is not close like that ( Destineal video ) I have a thunder manifold. But im afraid to melt the hose on the road lol. I'll check for a spacer or the speedcircuit kit..
