Photoshopped...

I have just started playing with cars in Photoshop, and since quite a few of you do it, I thought I would post my first set of chops to see what you guys thought... Also, feel free to post your before and after chops so I can see some of your work!

good job man .. and i got a question last week or early this week someone posted a website that gives you step by step directions on how to do that stuff but the main tool it showed to use my Adobe photoshop 7 program does not have ???/ so what can i do .. or does anyone else have that same program and can they help me with it . because i gotto learn how to shop a pict so i can tell what wouldlook good on my car or not ... thanks in advance

and its funny because if you click on the one to lower your car the car they use as an example is a blue MP3 lol

Right below the Rectangle Box is the normal Lasso. Click & hold once on the normal Lasso, and you should see a little side menu come up. Let me know if you need anything else.

1. Go around the entire car as tight as you can with the Polygonal Lasso.

2. Now start unselecting parts that you don't want changed by holding ALT and tracing around them as close as you can. *EDIT: Such as windows, trim, etc.*

3. Now that you have what you want, go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation. Take the Saturation all the down. You will now have a gray/silverish look.

4. Go back in to Image > Adjustments > Color Balance. Play with all the options in there (Shadows, Midtones, and Highlights).

5. Enjoy!

I know I wil prolly get flamed for this, but I am gonna make a suggestion anyways.
It seems we get lots and lots of photchop questions on this board, all from people who want to know how to do the stuff we do. Well, it takes lots of practice and lots of time to master any of Adobe's Illustration programs.
So, for those of you that want to have ALMOST the exact same types of tools in a paint program, and ease of using things for most people, try out JASC's PhotoImpact. Version 8 is out right now and I love it. I do most of my work on impact rather than shop when I need stuff done quickly.
To give you an idea of some of the neat tools that JASC has, I am going to attach some pics of wallpapers I have made using only impact to create them. Also, my sig was made using Impact as well, with the animation studio feature.
Oh yeah, if for some reason you actually like these pics and want to use them as a wallpaper, just let me know and I'll post up the 1024X768 version of them.
