I have raced one. i sopped at a light when he just looked at me and then i didnt know if he was gunna take off and then he started to go so then i droped it into 2nd and started goin i caught up to him and started pullin on him i was up by like a car then i go into 4th goin like 100 and he starts comin back up slowly and then he just stopped and i was still ahead so i guess i won :) and i have a stock msp

You must never have raced one. I've raced 3 in impromptu stoplight races. 2 of them were from dead stops, and one from a rolling start at about 40 MPH. Each time we went up to 95-110 MPH.

I won all 3, was never behind in any of them and maintained a consitant lead throught the entire time. Each race there was only the drivers in the car and both cars are stock with the exception of an aftemarket exhaust and bosy kit on one of the RSXs (the rolling start one, which I totally decimated). My MSP also has about 40 pounds of stereo equipment in the trunk.

Says who?? I remember when I used to go to the track... no stock RSX-S could break into the 14's. All I kept seeing were 15.2-15.5.

I was like, "ummm, are these cars supposed to be impressive??"
 
i have routinely murdered RSX-Ss in thier vaunted straight-line. My turbo kicks in well before their precious VTEC even blinks. Looks like an oversized Honda Insight anyhow.

Yeah...the fact that you can drop a chip in that car and get a metric asston of power amazes me. I love that they say those HP numbers are low for a turbo'd engine at 18-19 psi, when Joe was using stock internals, stock IC, stock airbox, stock piping, and stock ECU. That and it looked stock...just a crazy ass sleeper. Just imagine with all that stock stuff changed and ECU managment what he would have been running!
 
do they not know that compression of the engine, not only the "psi" makes for different horsepower numbers? and also that different turbo's at the same flow levels will flow way different amounts of air, and therefore make more horsepower? true, if he was running a full t3/t04 at those boost levels that would be a really low number, but the t25 is tiny and designed for quick spool, not power. tell them to learn to read a compressor map.
edit: i don't really care which one is "better," but uneducated people who try to make a point displeases me
