INFINTY SHIMINFITY! dear God i loathe cross overs and SUv's.....

grrrrrrrrrrrr.......

its just like Porsche comming out with an SUV... i love Porsche, but who needs to get to soccer practice in 3.6 seconds?

yeah who needs it...well if u got that much money...it'll complete their stable of porsches. so why not?

next thing hummer will start building supercars. heh.

And - the Porsche Cayenne weighs OVER 5000 LBS!!!!!

Shame on Porsche for even following this trend. IMO, the company has lowered itself by creating such a vehicle. If you'd have told ANY Porsche owner in, say, 1989, that the world-renowned sports car manufacturer they loved and admired would build a TRUCK, they'd have laughed you out of the passenger seat. But here it is. Shame.

Little baby wannabe tough-guys buying $50k plus vehicles that do NOTHING well except suck up gas and block other's view of the road. Want an SUV? Get a Jeep - there is no other. Want a sports car? Plan NOT to take 6 friends along with you. Want a luxury vehicle? Plenty to choose from. But you CAN'T have all of them in one package, and SUVs generally offer nothing but HUGE compromises in every aspect of driving. Luxury cars are more comfortable, especially getting in and out. Sports cars offer FAR superiror performance and fun-factor. True off-roaders beat hell outta the trails. And almost all of them will get better gas mileage than these behemoths, and cost less.

Prepared for the Lambo, Ferrari, or Rolls Royce trucks? Better get ready, because if Porsche is successful with it, the others can't be far behind. What's the world (or the US anyway) coming to....

not many people know that Lamborghini actually did produce a truck that looks very similiar to the Hummer. but it wasnt because of trends, it was because i think the Italian government wanted them or something, but they did not produce very many.

if i was going to buy ANY luxury SUV it would be an Escalade. 345HP, Black, chrome 20's.... RAP MOBILE!

Porsche has decades of experience with making the ultimate sports coupe better, and have spent years setting themselves apart from everyone else.

i couldnt agree more!
