Continuing my oil change saga:
I didn't bother to go to the dealer to get the drain plug out but a a small local shop. They only charged $10.00 since a brought my own oil and filter.
The verdict:
Yes, the plug was over torque,d the washer was crushed in badly. Luckily the oil pan wasn't crossthreaded and so far no leaks.
We also noticed that the oil was a lot darker and thicker than expected. Even for only 4500km since my last oil change at the dealers. Makes me wonder if they even changed the oil the last time.
So now I have my Mobil1 5w-30 and KN filter, the car is running a lot smoother. I am running 200-300RPM lower at speed. (@100Kph I used to do 3200RPM now 3000 and sometimes 2900)

If you can, do your oil change yourself and use quality stuff and you won't be sorry.
