yeah...its awesome to have a rollcage...before i bought it, i launched the maxx off a hill and it landed on its roof, therefore crushing the fuel tank...the only problem with the rollcage is that one of the supports interferes with the rear suspension, so thats y i have it off for the moment until i figure out how to work around that...

yeah...i kno...but the civic body is just a show body since i basically retired that car...same thing goes with my rx-8 body on the nrs4...thats the show body, but the rsx is a thrasher body and the silvia is an unused race body...but i think i might bring the tc3 back into active status...probably with a mazda6 body...

haha...yeah...the silver was part of a plan i was cooking up to make it match my p5...i also had extra silver paint so i just said **** it and painted 2 bodies the same color...u gotta admit, it looks pretty good...i should probably paint my next body black so that i can get a whole stealth look going...

does anyone use electric cars anymore?
i have some brand new motors from about 8 years ago i never opened, i believe they are trinity motors, but not 100% sure
if anyone uses electric i would take some pics and post them for sale cheap here

the yellow skyline is mine, fastest one on my block. I won every local "tournament" then decided to retire when the new style x-mods came out. i even have some camera phone vids of or most interesting racing moments. lol

Took me a little while to find them, but i found them
I have 2 unopened motors, i am not selling these until I post the proper pictures in the FS section. my camera batteries are charging right now
Here is what the boxes say:
They are both Reedy Associated Modified motors
1. #302 Conquest 27 Stock, 36 Degree
2. #300 Fire Hawk Stock, 27 Turn
There is also a resistor and a manual in each package
They both have a $36 price tag on them, but obviously I'm not going to ask near that much
Let me know if these are any good and what they would be worth cause I have no idea, thanks

(cool) thread...Man...I still remember those RC names like clodbuster and midnight pumpkin (don't they still sell those?)...I had a friend who would always tell me about the RC10 back in the early 90's...I had an RC car with a lot mods for a while but once I started take driving lessons for my permit I lost interest in them...I mean if I'm going to spend a lot of money on a car...I don't want to use a damn joystick to drive it!
That said...I can't resist popping into Hobby stores whenever I get a chance...Anybody have those motorized model TANKS?

Total into this hobby, I've spent more than I put into my protege5 + what I paid for the protege5 easily. It's a money sapping hobby.
My HPI Hellfire cost me $600. Then I removed the junk readio/servos/reciever and added a $115 steering servo + $40 throttle servo + $80 reciever + I bought a new starter box which was $100 + about a couple of hundred dollas worth of spare parts(wheels/tires,bodies, etc). And I just got that truck about a month ago.
The truck below it, Sportwerks Mayhem ST, cost me over $1500 so far and still climbing............plus the other cars i have.
Gas isn't cheap either @ $25 a gallon.
This hobby will nickel and dime you to death.

Did that too. $2300 on chrome anteras back in '96. Stole the car 2 weeks later. Then $2000 on 17" Fittipaldi Lagunas when 17 inch wheels first came out. Someone stole those wheels a year later. (boom07)
