official r/c car/truck pic thread.

That is a ton of onroad cars!!! I had a 1/10th TA RC10GT when i was younger, and then sold it and bought an Inferno MP5 (1/8th buggy)...I sold that when I turned 18 and moved to college...

I didn't have many friends with on road stuff..Most of them had electric Team Losi buggy's and trucks......Our winterized roads where ridiculous, and parking lots where just gravel collectors...

The inferno had a .21 Rossi engine...and it flew...I will try to dig up some pictures...with the tallest pinion I had it ran next to a car at nearly 75mph on a highway...and it would get up to 75 way faster than the car we where riding in would...it seemed even faster with the "on road" only two speed conversion that I bought...but that truely was on road only, because one stint down a dirt trail and the entire assembly seized...

Ah, I feel your pain. At school the closest hobby shop was the next town over, so we racked up a lot of miles getting glow plugs and gas. We should have just bought the sheet from the guy.

Question, are any of you guys members on other specific RC forums? I'm looking for a good one to join.

im part of the radio control zone too...used to be really good but they have since changed the forum's layout and tried to make it part of the normal navigation, but that has made it turn to s***...but if you're on those forums, look around for the "woodymaxx"...some guy is building an entire t-maxx out of wood...down to the smallest detail...even the screws and springs!

Excellent, I'll definitely sign up there then, thanks for the info guys. I was pretty active on another forum but it was over run by a bunch of useless people and any good info/conversation was dilluted with BS.

A Wooden T-maxx eh? That's different, I'll have to check that out. My buddy has a E-maxx with a completely custom lexan chassis/Brushless setup, it's pretty amazing.

I used to work at a hobby shop and was always fixing HPI's s***! I'd take a nitro TC3 anyday over an HPI!

(wrong)

lol, yeah, his TC3 is definitly faster than mine, and obvisly better build, hasn't broken yet while mine has broken 2 times already :(

alrighty, after a trip to the hobby shop, plus a change in glow plug heater batteries, i got both nitros fired up tonight!...richard, looks like theyre coming along to the meet!...now, i just gotta pick up a body and some paint...
