2010 Mazda 5
I'm not new to the mazda world.. I used to have a 05 mazda 3 hatch ( my wife's friend is taking over the vehicle) and have been needing a bigger vehicle since my third son was born in May and finally was able to make it happen this morning. Got a good deal 2010 mazda5 sport in galaxy gray with 283mi... now to start the modding lol ive got a set of speed 3 sways f&r thatwere for the 3....not anymore lol and a speed 3 exhaust(this one im not sure of.... is it a straight bolt up for the exhaust like it would be for a regular 3?) and the CAI off of my 3 (also unsure if the intake fits the 5?) any help with those two small issues are appreciated

I jut bought a 2010 sport MT a month ago and looking at same upgrade. How much stiffer are Mazdaspeed front bar? I heard the rear make big improvement but not sure about the front.

im not sure how much stiffer it is... ive heard there is quite a difference in the front ones too though

ive also got a set of ms3 springs sitting in the garage that i may just slap on and see how they work out

Dont waste your time and money on the speed3 springs, it will lower the fronts but you will be nose up. You will need to use spacers on the rears 4 each side and when you are done it will just give you 1 inch drop at the most. just go for H&R. I'm on speed3 springs before but got hold of a sweet deal on a progress springs, I changed the fronts so it wont be nose up anymore and kept the rears (the MS3 rear springs are beefier)

cool thank you for the info....i found a pretty good deal on a set of prokit springs for a mazda3 would these work on the 5... i assume yes, but we all know what happens when someone assumes

Nothing to it, always pleased to help. Pro Kits are fine but remember, as with all lowering springs specifically designed for the 3, the rears will have to use spacers. post some pics after youre done

ah ok thank you for the info.... after really looking is there any way to add a spoiler or would the whole liftgate need to be replaced to add the spoiler because i want to add the bodykit and spoiler... gah being a noob all over again sucks lol sorry for all the questions

Hi out there! Just bought a 2010 Mazda 5 GT, AT, Pearl White for the wife/family vehicle. Picking it up this Wednesday. The wife could not abide a full size mini van(neither could I really) so this is a great compromise, plus it's fuel economy and handling is WAAAAY more car than van, which is a big plus!

Bayson R has an aftermarket rear spoiler for the 5 try it out, you can see some pics on their site and ebay. Not bad but too much for my taste, Im too old for that. Another great idea for the front lip is using the spoiler from a 6, 1 member here who used to own a5 installed one and it looked great, you can see it in the banner on TM6 forum. You can also see in the banner DimaRus' mazda5.
