I need your help. I was updating my Mazda 2 2016 firmware (56.00.100 4A N) using the files you shared with me.
I successfully installed the Fail Safe package (70.00.100A), but I made a big mistake, I turned off the car after the Fail Safe instead of continuing immediately with the Reinstallation Package.
After that, the screen went completely black and never came back. I have tried the following recovery steps without success:
- Removed and reinserted the ROOM fuse (waited 1 minute)
- Disconnected the negative battery terminal for 5 minutes
- Restarted in ACC mode with the USB inserted (both files still on it)
- Waited several minutes each time
The screen remains completely black with no reaction at all. The rest of the car works fine.
Is there anything else I can do to recover the CMU and complete the Reinstallation Package installation? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
