i need to find the best hp part for the money. i have upgraded turbohoses.com hardpipes, unichip from corksport, injen cai, quaif differental, act stage 2 clutch, 2.5" exaust. what should be my next buy? thanks to all who respond!!
 
I replaced the S pipe with a corksport and left the J pipe of for a few days. That was one of the best HP for $$ mods I had done to the car, but of course not everyone can drive arounmd with an open exhaust. 2.5 might be a bit small for full HP but good for daily driver, that's my opinion and a lot of people disagee so I don't want to start an argument over this. But since you already have an exhaust, maybe an upgrade SMIC since you also have he hardpipes already.
 
i was waiting for travis at corksport to let me know when their fmic kit was available. so that was a definant buy. is the s pipe from corksport good to buy? then i have to get new motor mounts right? i just want to take my time with my car so i can do it right. who makes a good high boost fmic kit? im running 10lbs now. i found a corksport power series exhaust on ebay. what size should i go?
 
My intake mani will yield very good gains for the money... also a SMIC or FMIC depending on your goals for the car

Or how about a Nick turbo upgrade. You get GT28 guts, ceramic coated ported and polished turbo, ceramic coated ported and polished s-pipe, ceramic coated ported and polish exhaust manifold.

All this for just about 100 bucks more than the 550 you'd pay for that turbo.

I would suggest a better SMIC to go with the hardpipes first and the PG intake manifold second. I wouldn't expect any real gains from the ground wires.
 
someone sent me this from somewhere. i dont even know the person. but where exactly do they go to? also i need to upgrade motor mounts soon before i put the s pipe and exhaust in. any suggestions? i see a lot of you guys have the awr brand.
 
THe turbo hoses smic was the best mod for my car so far, it made daily driving much better. THe intake manifold is my next mod.
 
did u install all of the other existing mods yourself? bc if you did you should be knowledgable to answer ur own question. or did you buy the car with it on there already?
 
i would say your next best mod is to figure out what you want the car to do/have for hp. until then you can ad parts tilll your blue in the face.
 
i would love to hit 300, but i think im going to go with the fmic for the "long run" purpose. i just bought oil can and radiator breather. motor mounts r next week. does anyone know anyone who has a fmic kit for sale before i bought it brand new???
 
for 300hp. the 2.5" exhaust is sub par. The unichip isnt really your answer to 300whp, and your engine will certainly blow up at 300.

Fmic is a great start.
 
i said i would "like" to. i plan on either buying the upgraded engine or start tearing my down and build it from the inside out. does anyone else have the unichip? if so what is ur hp gain with it?
 
i understand totally, im just saying, when u get into the 275-300whp alot of your setup has to change, hence why i said to pick a goal. its ur car u can do whatever you like. :)
