there is no forum on this board for "Lions starring in major motion pictures" so ill just post this here.

i just realized a flaw in the plot to disney's the lion king!!

at a key point in the plot. when mufasa gets thrown off the cliff by scar and dies, he lands on his back! cats always land on their feet!

that just compromises the whole integrity of the film......sigh.....

further events to be posted as they warrant...

i guess for this experiment were overlooking the whole talking animal part of the movie right?

(rofl)

funny sheit! man, i could go on and on about movie flaws(wizard of oz comes to mind)...but i digress.

actually, lions are different from your normal house cat. (at least as far as landing on thier feet is concerned) also, i have read books about cats, and they will land on thier feet if the distance they drop from is short enough for them to judge the distance correctly. if they fall from a height of over 10 feet, they have nothing to judge the distance by and can land on anything from thier head to thier back, and if they are lucky, thier feet. also, cats are built very strong and will survive a fall from up to 30 feet.

I think were going to need to see some video proof of that!

yes, I agree. It is teaching our kids that if you throw a loin off of a cliff that it will land on its back and "die", but what if a child was faced with a situation where he/she is confronted with a bad lion he/she will atempt to replay what he/she has learnd through such movies, and hurl the offending loin off of a cliff but is that really the answer? Loins can be subdued in many other non-lethal ways but I will not get into that. Its all scociety's fault, so when all the loins go on strike you will know who to blame... Mr. Walt Disney, but is this really what we are hoping to achieve? Why would a child be forced to take the life of another living creature in to his/her own hands? The answer...scocity and diet soft drinks. Because the government puts subliminal messages in cartoons and carrot. so from now on look bolth ways before crossing the street and blufe gegate sorenty of sagoents principle law so nert the doofed and find all the ruet my dog will...............................

This is the 6th freebsd boot floppy I make, because I am too scatter brained to remember where I put the other 5. (ps-you only need two for the setup)

Hey, it was off topic anways :)

And how come the animals always speak English? Huh? You know, they live in AFRICA.

Man, even the ALIENS in the movies speak English! I mean, Vulcans speaking English....how illogical.
