Modified Turbo Inlet Q's Maf sensor

Guys I am running a GT 3071 and have a custom made Turbo Inlet of 100mm (3.94 inches) running to a SRI which is 71mm (3 inches). My question is, I want to change the the SRI to same size as my Turbo Inlet, has anyone else done this and have you had any MAF sensor issues i.e. over fueling problems?

CP-E makes a big MAF intake (3.25in)http://cp-e.com/content/xcelxl%E2%84%A2-air-intake

But you have to tune for it, and I think they require their tune to even purchase it..

hmmm, how did you fit a new manifold and turbo under the stock heat shield? dont tell me you have the stock mani still...

it's a GT3071 bolt on from ATP, not interested in doing the manifold for now

your way better off making your custom inlet pipe the same diameter as your intake. mainly because your loosing air velocity going from 3'' to 4'' and plus if you make the diameter of your mafs larger it will distort the signal. you will need to custom tune and an aftermarket larger mafs which is expensive and totally unnecessary, unless your building a drag car or something.
