lower control arm question

hello everyone. i was curious...
what's with no one selling just the ball joints for our cars? i don't want to pay $100+ for lower control arms when all i need is the ball joint.
any ideas? or am i not searching hard enough....
sorry but i went on every parts site and everyone wants to sell me the complete LCA, not just the ball joint.
any help would be appreciated

the lower a-arm ball joint is not a seperately serviceable part, that why its sold as the whole assembly.

exactly! so why make the customer pay $100+ for an LCA when i could just buy a ball-joint for $30 and have it pressed in for $20????

ebay is your friend. You can get both arms for around $80 last time I looked

you are seriously getting ripped if you expect to pay $100+ each. rockauto has them for $60 each, for the mid-grade versions. the cheap ones are $50.

oh, really? cool! i went to advance auto and they quoted me $114 per side!
