Kyb gr2 with racing beat rear sway bar?

Anyone have issues with breaking mounting tabs for the sway bar on gr2s? Finally getting around to pulling the junk Monroe's off the rear of mine and just wondering if I should add a little support to them or not

I'm glad you asked this. I'm looking at the 19mm AWR bar (similar sized) and am running the GR-2s. I'd planned on welding some reinforcements into the tab, but if it's not necessary then I wouldn't mind not having to do it.

Ill probably just end up doing it anyway ( pros of knowing professional welders) but if a few people say they haven't had issues than I won't bother doing it. They only have to last till I get coilovers

I know ppl have ripped the tabs off using the Whiteline rsb w/stock struts, KYB's are just a stock replacement so I'd do it just to be safe...

i ran a racingbeat rear swaybar on oem kyb struts for a year of hard driving and never had a problem
