Car was awesome on the freeway =] with my trusty radar detector I ovoided lots of tikets, and my msp got me to my destonation fast and quick. The only thing that really SUCKS on these long halls is no cruise control... Without it I find myself going close to 100 mph just cruising right along. Its to dam easy to hit boost on the freeway with a normal cruise speed and bump real fast up to 90 or 100. Also another thing about long road trips is you get real paranoid after the first thing flies at your window from the rear tires of a semi. I stayed far back from those beasts (they spit rocks like no other). Luckily I made it there and back with no chips =]

Word. I realized I needed to look into cruise after my last 12hr-each-way trip to Co. Glad to see someone else is truly enjoying their car and isn't keeping it in the garage all of the time. :D

You drove your speed to Co.? I remember when I was a senior in High School, me an my girlfriend on our last week of school snunk off to Colorado in my mom's 2nd Gen Protege. Got there and back, no problem(exept when her Dad found out that the permission slip to the tennis trip in San Antonio was forged!). To be young again.... :D I would love to drive my car to the east coast.

Actually, there is something that throws rocks as bad as semi's, any 4x4 with monster tires. I have lost 2 windshields to them. Bastards! :(

I don't make such long trips as you guys, but my MSP certainly never sees the garage. I have about a 45 minute commute to and from work, I'll probably find some reason to drive to the store every night. And my car is the only car that is taken out on weekends. Putting lots of miles on it, yes. But teh pure enjoyment of driving my MSP? Priceless.
