How to quiet the gauge cluster cowl cover??!

Stupid problem driving me insane. The clear cowl cover for the gauge cluster vibrates and makes a stupid annoying noise. If I put my finger against it it stops. Is there a way to tighten it/secure it place with something?

Anyone else have this issue?

Maybe try jamming a little piece of paper, plastic or toothpick between the clear and black pieces of plastic. If you find the right spot it might stop it.

OR just crank up your stereo and pretend it stopped.

You can try tightening the two screws on the bottom side of the top of the cowl. If that doesn't work, you can remove them and then pull the cowl out enough to squeeze some foam in there?

Ah good advice. Thanks dudes. Just pulled into the shop to have my wheel bearing replaced and I'm pretty sure my clutch master is on its way out. Could barely shift it into first, got stuck a few times off the highway. Slave cylinder and lines are dry and boot has no leakage so assuming thats what it is.

^yep.

And for the noise - stuff something into the gap - that is what i did [rolls eyes].

I loosened the screws underneath and then shoved a line of closed-cell foam tape between the two.

Also, try checking the brake fluid reservoir cap closely to see if it's cracking or there's any damage; I had hard shifting issues that I couldn't pin down until I noticed my cap had a crack in it and now shifts perfect. Saved me a ton of work and time having to replace the whole master.
